WYSIWYG Charts in MS Excel/Word/PDF

While exporting the Ad hoc Visualizer report, you now have the option of exporting WYSIWYG amChart to a chosen format (MS EXCEL/ACROBAT PDF/CSV/TEXT/MS WORD). You can select either rChart or amChart JavaScript in Export Chart Provider under Chart Properties on Navigation > Design > Ad hoc Template Configuration screen.

The amChart export module works by emulating a browser environment for server side generation of amCharts. These interactive charts when exported are just the same as were when rendered on the UI. An amChart when exported to pdf format looks like below:

Exporting Reports to MS Office 2007 and 2013 Compatible Formats

Earlier Intellicus versions supported exporting reports to MS Office 97-2003 file formats. With Intellicus 7.3, you can also export reports to MS Office v2007 and above.

You can choose the MS Office version by configuring 'Export to MS-Office' under Navigation > Administration > Configure > Server > Rendering.

Files when exported to the latest MS Office versions offer the following features:

• Smaller file sizes
• Portable to most web-based applications
• Enhanced features like maximum number of rows that can be displayed is upto 1 million per excel sheet with maximum of 16,000 columns display
• Open file formats that are compatible with modern non-Office tools
