Introducing Load step in Query Object

Intellicus has strengthened its ETL capability by the addition of the 'Load Step'.

 

Intellicus Meta-layer helps provide extraction of data from heterogeneous data sources and enables various transformations that can be performed over this data.

This transformed data needs to be loaded into a target system or database for applying further analytics on it.

Supported Target system includes: File, Relational database, HDFS, No SQL database, Columnar database etc.

 

Intellicus' Load step under Query Object loads the extracted data into a target system. This data loaded into a target system can then be used as a data source in same or another Query object

for various reporting and dashboard configuring needs.

 

You need to select a target Intellicus connection (already created under Configure > Databases) on which data should be loaded. There are target connection specific properties required to load data into the system.

One of the important configurations is the unchecking of the 'Read Only' setting of the target database. If not unchecked, this database will not show in the list of target databases where the extracted data can be loaded.

 

You can fetch list of existing Tables/Files from the connection.

 

Load functionality can be scheduled to run at predefined intervals.

 

Running a Query Object will execute the transformation and load the data into target system. You can also schedule the query object in once or recurring mode.

 

Scheduling Query Object Execution

You now have the flexibility to execute the already saved Query Object as and when required. You can schedule Query Object to run either once on a specified date or in recurring mode upon certain frequency.

Recurring option enables you to choose a specific date/time as well as the region's time zone for execution.

Scheduled Data loads if Query Object has a Load step.
