This enhancement gives you an option to split the chart on an x-axis field into multiple charts. The number of charts drawn will be equal to the number of x-axis values on which split is applied.
This will facilitate profound analysis as the individual charts will give a clearer depiction of data.
An example where a report is split into single charts (for various countries) showing transaction amount through different card types is shown below.
