Intellicus supports executing R scripts running on an external R server (Rserve) for advanced statistical computing.
To use the R script, you need to establish a connection to Rserve that allows Intellicus to access R functionality.
Let us look at an example below where the Query Object uses an R script to predict the future behavior analyzing the current parameters.
You can specify an R script that contains code to process the data as shown below
Data Extraction and Forwarding Agent (or DEFA) collects identified data at predefined intervals from a data source and forwards it to a data collector component (Intellicus Report Server) which can transform and load this data.
DEFA runs as a dedicated, reliable, and available service for efficiently collecting and forwarding large amounts of incremental data. This data can come from RDBMS, JSON and file based data sources.
Intellicus 18 supports JSON as a File Type for File and Web Service data sources in a Query Object. You can now use JSON file type which is more suited for web services while designing Query Objects in Intellicus.
To leverage the capabilities of in-memory computing and real-time analytics, Intellicus now provides support for SAP HANA as a data source.
You can create a database connection to SAP HANA and use the connection to create Query Objects.
