Embed Charts and other report content in email body

Intellicus 16.2 provides support to embed and email the report output in the message body.
You can embed an HTML or Text report output in the body of email.

Now, when the user opens their email, they do not have to open an attachment.

Option to convert a long running / waiting report request to background run request

When a report is waiting to be picked for running, the requested user's screen gives two options: one option is to cancel the request and the other is to convert the request to a background run request.
By choosing to run the report in background, user can move away from that screen and carry on other tasks.
The background run report, once completed will be listed in Report Execution Status page (under My Reports > Other Reports) where the user can navigate and view it any time on completion.

Copy or download Chart image from report viewer

You can copy or download the report output (in the form of a Chart/ Map/Grid) at any time as an image (in PNG, JPG and SVG formats).
This snapshot can be used in future for analysing your business data.

Copy grid content to clipboard from report viewer

You can copy to clipboard the report output (Grid) as comma-separated values.

Implementation of additional report output operations from My Reports and Published Reports Listings

You can now e-mail, print and upload the selected report outputs using the context menu on any selected Report / Report Output, on the 'My Reports' and 'Published Reports' listing screens.
These would enable users to share the report outputs that were generated earlier by schedule or by running in background.

Introduced Color Selector for Chart Series in Ad hoc Reports

In our previous versions, the chart colors were fetched from pre-defined color themes specified in the template files. Now, you can pick the desired color for given Chart Series from the Color Selector.
You can select a color for the chart series or else default color would apply from the system palette. You can also assign a color for negative values i.e. values below a specified 'Negative Base'. 'Use Negative Color For Decreasing Values' option enables viewing values following a decreasing trend in the chosen negative color.

Auto Refresh functionality on Job Execution Status screen

On "Job Execution Status" screen, you can now provide the refresh interval to automatically get the updated status of currently executing jobs.
The minimum value that can be specified for refresh interval is 0.5 minutes.

Report Advanced properties available from Report Designer

With Intellicus 16.2, you now have the option to set Advanced Properties for a saved report from main menu on Smart View and Ad hoc Report screens.
The various properties that can be set include enabling audit log, setting priority to run the report, database connection timeout to name a few.
